Do I need to flip the Cam or will it wear back? I'll set up the bars and see which fit best. They both seem pretty equal and mark Left and Right with tie wraps.
I thought this wasn't normal damage and didn't want to replace it.
Mike,
No need to flip the cams over. Just set up the WD marks marked for left and right and always use from here forward on the same side. Track the truck & TT 100ft straight, adjust the cam arm length to be exact in the center of the WD bar V notch and run from there.
The new wear pattern will start and then blend in over time to create a perfect matched fit between the WD bar and the cam lobe.
If and when you approach 1/4", 5/16" off the diameter or more cam wear, then you can start thinking about maybe flipping the cam over. Like I said, I expect to be at 100,000 miles before I need to start thinking about to flip the cam over. Your lighter TW, it may take even longer than that.
BTW, neat campground you were at. Thanks for sharing.
