Remember the farmer, a spark plug and 3 sheep?

My exhaust manifolds..busted bolts and all that that can mean. I had to get on the road this week..and the two shops I would have normally have used..one said nope...other said no time. So..what else could I do but call Shane and he says...sure. So, I drove out today and tonight I am encamped with the 3 f-i-n-e lookin sheep....and tomorrow, he'll do the manifolds.

And I promise to not forget the lesson.

    Dunno about nervous -- we were tripping thru the southwest awhile back and stopped at a small ranch - looking at the new lambs over the fence.

    Rancher came running out the barn, and that little lamb turned and looked at him jogging along the path and said :: D-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-d ... could a swore we heard it right ...

    My dad worked at construction camps at Kitamat, Ocean Falls and Caamano after WWII. He would tell us stories of the camps when we were kids. Visting Kitamat then driving the Yellowhead in on my personal bucket list.

    Maybe next time (if there is a need) the 'farmer mechanic' will be your FIRST call vs 3rd seeing as those other preferred shops blew you off :R


    I almost post this stuff just for you, OB...I am abviously making fun of myself and agree that my past mention of the guy were not 'in-line'...but you have this need to go on. Maybe loose that. You're probably a nice guy but you remind me of a past father-in-law..who, no matter what, always had to say something nasty.

    What about his hip boots, he never mentioned those! When I got orders at Sattahip, Thailand Loran C station in 1967 to return to Point Arena Loran A stations, one of the guys really gave me the raspberries about it be on the cliffs of a sheep farm and my need for hip boots.
