Replaced fridge circuit board, now lights won't even come on

Question

I was having issues with my fridge. It was only working when on propane, but then it stopped working on propane too. The lights would still come on.

Based on a recommendation from this board, I purchased the Dinosaur board I needed. Hooked everything up the same way as before, but now the lights won't even turn on to the fridge control panel. Any ideas what to do?

Check the fuses on the new board.

Check the 12 volt fuse for the refrigerator.Bruce

In my vague memory, I had a similar issue a few years ago with a replacement Dinosaur board. I called Dinosaur and the guy walked me through a sort of reboot of the board, which involved something like removing a certain fuse and a few other steps, then re-inserting the fuse.  So I suggest calling them if you can't figure it out.

Make sure the 12v polarity is correct. Do you have 120v?

Had a board problem with a Norcold last winter while in Florida. Because I was under warranty, mobile repair had to jump through hoops to get a new board. After it was installed, still no fried. A call to Norcold disclosed that you had to do a reboot to get the board working.
I suspect this may be the same issue for you. A call to Dinosaur should clear it up.
