NOT. These people are bullies and will keep bullying if they are not stopped. You may be doing THEM a favor by going to management and asking them to have the items removed. The next person might be more hostile toward their intrusion.
X2, they're probably looking for a confrontation.
We can't fix rude/stupid, but we can deal with it. I would get management involved.
