Retired Vets camping at Canadian Military facilites

I put the question here for a broader audience possibly.
I may have posted about his some time ago but don't have any recollection of it.
I know Retired or Disabled Vets of US Military can stay at Military RV or Camping facilities in Canada as Canadians Retired Mil Vets do here under our MWR program.
Other than that I don't know where they are or where to find info.
Our last trip this year we plan on Canada for some fishing and other things.
I prefer the Military RV Campground here, when available.
Can anyone comment on and info, protocols, locations, costs, id and generally things, that would keep me from falling on our faces as a newby up there?

    Just remember, a bunch of British Officers ruined it for everyone a couple years back. Here in the US, American forces retired and active, have priority over any guest from a foreign country and Canada imposed the same restriction. So if you're camped at a Canadian Forces facility and a Canadian comes in and there are no spots available, you will be required to vacate your site for them.

    I thought I replied. but...Thanks a bunch.
    I contacted the email address and was told we were indeed welcome and to contact the individual facilities for availabiltiy.
    Haven't tried to contact the Canadain Legion yet.
    In Nam the Canadians were there so maybe that qualifies.
    Saw some Aussies at our field but no Canadians or maybe they were.
    Perhaps I will stumble upon another Vet wanting to visit so we won't feel so acquard.

    I fell out of place everytime I go there. Which isn't much anymore.

    Know how tall your RV is in metric, write down measurement and keep handy.
    Hold on to your wallet. Some of their prices are very high.
    Many drive like the speed limit is the minimum you should go.
    Know your cell phone plan before using it north of border.
    When I cross border I'm "visiting for no more than 2 weeks".
