That stuff doesn't appear to be very safe, especially considering it comes from China, where they're not too concerned about individual safety. Why take a chance when boric acid works 100%, with no danger.

On Edit: Upon further research I found that boric acid can be dangerous to humans and pets if eaten.

Not all "bug bombs" are equal. Most are aerosols that leave a nasty film within several feet but fail to penetrate in cracks and hiding places. They are no better, no actually much worse, than spraying household insecticides.

There is a pesticide that truly works, penetrates every possible location and then is easy to clear and does not leave a gooey pesticide film. Get Raid fumigator/fogger. It is water activated with a delay and the canister generates a smoke that will stay in the air for hours and penetrates everywhere. After a few hours, you open windows, turn on exhaust fans and the smoke entirely clears.

So you have any pets? I did and alas I had roaches after an extended visit to GA.

Finally the cat natural died so Now it's just me, and the roaches here in my apartment. and a couple pounds of Ouroboric Acid (I used a blower to "Dust" most all the apartment. all the carpeting, Under appliances, into cracks and crevices and even the fake wood (Vinyl) flooring where I did not walk...

I now see bugs on occasion but the I may well have seen my last roach.. (It was hiding in an older microwave I brought up from the RV. Said Microwave failed dangerous (IT's an LG/Dometic and LG's do that) and is now, cordless and control paneless, in the big metal box across the parking lot (Dumpster).

The Oh-So-Boring acid just bores them to death (Word play there)

Watched one of 'em walk out onto a field of acid, he made it about 6" before ..... He decesed walking and deceased

Got Pets? The powder they use to treat pool filters (Diatomic Earth if I got the speialing right helps. not as effective as the acid but it helps.

BUG Doctor, ZEVO and other organic bug killers also work but not as well as their ads imply.

Our experience is that Palmetto Bugs (American Coachroach) don't really infest, like other cockroaches. Usually, with Palmetto Bugs, what you see is all there is. If you are concerned, boric acid is the way to go. Both times we rented a storage unit here in GA, the unit was outlined with Boric acid to kill ants and roaches.

This is my experience as well. Living in the south and a coastal area, they are all over the place but usually don't have a lot of interest in coming into your house. If they do, they are looking for food or water but they don't infest like German cockroaches.

... and you're actually going back to Florida? :)
