Looks to be a Ford, based upon the front bumper it APPEARS to be a Super Duty. Many possible reasons for a crash. Hopefully the occupants are okay, that cab looks pretty damaged. That is a LOT of weight for the truck and the trailer on top of it, crushing that A and B pillar.
As camping season starts, I encourage everyone to remain vigilant while driving and get to your destination SAFELY to enjoy your vacations!
Not that it matters but that is a F150.
It very well could matter, 150 or 1500's have typically softer tire sidewalls and springs and can play into a bad scenario with a tow behind.
Unless you have more info than the pic it is just keyboard conjecture. All we have is a picture of a pickup with a cargo/motorsports trailer on it.
How about personal experience towing with a 1/2 ton load levelers and sway control that was setup by a professional shop many years ago. I ended up 180 rolled 360 and separated from trailer with it laying on the side. I had come down a long grade with a big sweeping corner trailer started to sway could not get it correct trailer past me on the right and am lucky to be here.
Towed the same trailer MANY times with a Dually no sway or leveling, rock solid. The 1/2 ton was the problem.
So yea I do have experience in this arena.
