I can turn mine off and use the scare lights if that would make you happier?
BTW is also helps see where the yappy dogs crapped in my site and the owner didn't clean it up. This actually happened two nights in a row a couple of years ago. The guy two sites up would "walk" his dog after dark (I supposed so no one would see) and never pick up.
I waited for him the third night. Didn't happen again on that trip.
