Rubber roof welding?
This looks like a nice, neat way of sealing around stuff on the roof. Has anybody ever done this or have it on their roofs? Scott

Hot welding does create a material to material interconnect similar to melting ice to ice. It's probably the strongest of all material to material connections. When applied properly by an experienced trained technician, it should outlast any tape or adhesive bond. But, hot welding is limited in where it can be used and does not eliminate the use of lap sealant or tape on an RV roof.
