do not cross the Delaware River towing and using an EZ-Pass, they admit that their computer software does not know how to correctly calculate your rig and incorrectly changes. NJ traffic going east for commuter traffic starts in PA and goes to NYC. Either come through before 7am, or wait until after 9am to enter NJ. Also you will hit a lot of traffic coming east on a Sunday afternoon/evening as everyone comes back from their weekend away. Friday nights heading west are heavier traffic then M-Th. Traffic heading west from NYC to PA M-Th starts around 4pm and doesn't lighten up until around 7pm.
