The sad thing is that it takes only a few seconds to go to the RV maker's site, pull up the MSRP they show and display that to the salesperson. If someone does lie, do it so it isn't detected and fact-checked within 15 seconds.
I just wish places didn't do that tactic. In Germany, if they ask for 65,000 Euros for a rig, that is what the price is. They don't charge €100,000 and expect people to bargain them down to a lower value.
I don't like buying from out of state (I try to buy local when possible), but I may end up having to, since the $20,000 to $30,000 (depending on taxes) saved between what the local people want to push versus what I've seen from an out of state dealer is quite significant.
