- Desert_CaptainExplorer IIIStill $3.09 here in Tucson.
- SRTExplorerSome local stations have raised their prices to $3.29 from $3.21. Diesel ranges from $4.05 to $4.39.
- koda55ExplorerAAA gas predicted that gas will rise .50 cents this year. In Jacksonville. Fl I am seeing it rise already Some stationed have gone up .06 cents already. Diesel is going for 3.82 up to 4.10 at places.
- tomman58ExplorerDiesel in central Fl. runs from 3.85 to 4.10. The price will go down as winter slows. Propane sales have been busy this year here but still get 30# tank filled for 25 bucks at the park.
- tahiti16ExplorerWe are on our way up again here in So. Cal! Up $.12 per gallon over the weekend!
- SRTExplorerOne station dropped their price by 2¢ a gallon to $3.17. The rest are still around $3.21. Still in a propane shortage. The electric company is going to show a healthy profit this month from us (and others) running their electric space heaters.
- SRTExplorerGasoline prices vary from $3.19 to $3.21. Propane prices as high as $5.00 a gallon have been reported. Still damn cold out. The latest snow storms are far to the south. The ground hogs have said 6 more weeks of winter. Sigh......:R
- FezziwigExplorerYou may want to change your water heater to a new flash heater that only heats water as necessary.

there is no shortage of propane in the salt domes around Mont Bellvue Texas.
it takes trucks, pipelines , trains etc. to get it up north , and the industry loves any reason it can invent to jack up prices and screw everyone they can !
We are less than 200 miles from the main source of propane in the US and we are being hosed as well .
Actually, propane stocks are low for this time of year nationwide, including at Mont Belvieu, but most critically so in the Midwest. The U.S. Energy Information Administration (my former employer) publishes the data weekly, here. - SRTExplorer

We are reduced to heating by electric heaters and cooking with electric frying pans to save on propane. So far the furnace only runs for a short time in the morning. The hot water heater was already set for "barely hot". Getting damn tired of wearing fleece sweaters, flannel lined jeans and wool socks. Can't work on the model RR as that room is shut down to save propane.
