To keep things on topic.......:R Several stations have moved their prices up to $3.45. I'm sure over the next few days most of the other stations will follow. So we're back to a bigger bite from our wallet/purse. All I can say is OUCH. This has to be one of the fastest prices increases in a while around here. 55¢ a gallon increase for gasoline while diesel stayed the same the past month. Why do I feel violated??? :E
Is there any rhyme or reason for this last price break out to the up side that anyone has evidence to support it? - SRTExplorerTo keep things on topic.......:R Several stations have moved their prices up to $3.45. - Desert_CaptainExplorer IIIStill under $3 for unleaded here in Tucson.... but not for long. :R
- Gale_HawkinsExplorerWow! $3.39 today
- SRTExplorerLooks like gasoline prices continue to increase. $3.39 appears to be the new "normal." This up 4¢ a gallon. Diesel prices remain around $3.90 (plus or minus 10¢).
- LindsayRichardsExplorerTaxpayers just took a $26 BILLION hit when we sold them back the stock we paid double for. That's 50 times the investment. Where is the link on Johnson Controls buying the A123 technology? If they had valuable technology, they wouldn't have gone bust after getting $249 million from us. Where are your links on the above?
- LindsayRichardsExplorerThe Chinese did buy A123 battery company. Their bid was substantially higher than Johnson control. The same Chinese company is making the battery for the new GM EV, so GM must like it.

auto-parts manufacturer Wanxiang Corp is trying to buy Fisker Automotive
The Chinese auto part maker which just bought A123 battery maker that went bankrupt after their $239,000,000.00 USA loan default. Fisker used these batteries. Not sure how the taxpayers would be affected in our over half a billion dollar loan to Fisker. - LindsayRichardsExplorerThey do not meet the EPA polutions standards. The 8.1 L standards. Workhorse also went belly up. The only America gasoline engine being produced for RV's is the Ford V-10. I had a Chevy 464 for years and now have the 8.1 L and they are both good engines in my opinion. The EPA has continued to lower pollution standards. If you have Workhorse brakes, you need to be sure you have the new, redesigned calipers. The old design ones are very dangerous. Navistar bought the remains of Workhorse, but I do not know if they are still responsible for the government mandated brake recall. Your dealer was obligated to check on this. You should check with them to be sure. I lost my brakes on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Brakes are a much bigger problem that a new pollution standard that was all of a sudden no longer any good.

There is not a single RV being made that has a GM gas engine anymore. It isn't just mine, it is everybodies. Try to keep up.
Is there anything wrong with the GM Gas engines I do not know about. I just bought a used Georgie Boy in July 2011 and it has a GM Gas engine in it. Hope I did not make a mistake.
