- LindsayRichardsExplorerDidn't read the article I see. They are worried about fracking because it is developing so much new oil and gas, they fear they will lose their position. 92% of their budget comes from oil related origins. The earthquake, dirty water is just fear mongering. The EPA has not been able to implicate it. Lets not get off on tangents. The point of the article is to show how they fear it which is a good thing. They are spending millions trying to influence the under informed around the world to maintain their strangle hold on us.

Interesting article about Saudis being very afraid of fracking

they aren't the only ones! People having earthquakes where they never did before and water supplies in question. Yeah the jury is still out on that one. - LindsayRichardsExplorer

80 miles a day ? at least it's some better than traveling in a covered wagon pulled with mules.
We might have died of old age before getting home from our present trip to Alaska and back ?
It will not tow 4 down either. Need at least a dolly.
No problem to charge at a campsite and tour around for free.
I drove 120 miles today after a mid day charge. That is more than usual for me.
RAV4 EV will go 140 miles on a single charge if that helps.
You tow the Honda behind the 5er? - SRTExplorerRead several interesting articles this morning about oil prices. These articles mentioned Saudi Arabia, Iran, OPEC, oil company lobby in Washington D.C., etc.. Supply and demand was very lightly touched. Who would've guessed :R.
One article talked about mineral legislation still on the books from the early 1900's. One would think that these laws should be examined post-haste and either abolished or modified to fit the current times. Gee, I wonder if the oil company lobby has put $$ in certain pockets in Congress to ignore visiting these laws.
Well, anyway, after the rapid increase in gasoline costs up here, prices are moving downward by centimeters (love the metric system). One station will "drop" it's prices by a penny and the rest will follow over many days. I know, I know, they are conditioning us to expect increasingly higher and higher "base" prices. Of course, with Ben continuing to print $$, the dollar is worth less and less which leads to higher consumer costs. dannydimitt wrote:

I'm getting tired of these roller coaster prices. I'm yearning for the "good old days" of more stable pricing.

My vehicle is filled every night ready to go in the morning. $3 goes about 80 miles. :B
Never going to a gas station, priceless. - dannydimittExplorer3.55 9/10 a gallon for diesel at Walmart in Greeley Colorado today. posted pump price.
