My sister got a couple of quotes.
Her husband was able to help out a little, like attaching the siding, that was pre-painted, and insulated with something like 1/2" foam and is made from aluminum. It was 24' wide with 40; long, and they checked wood and metal. Wood looks a lot more like their house, so they went with that, and cost was similar. They have one 3' door and 12 X 7' high roll up door with electric opener. Cost is not similar, as it was several years ago, and only 8' tall walls.
Her husband did most of the wiring, and a friend was the contractor. He did not build metal buildings, so wood was their best answer.
