Silver Corvette, last night I did not have any issues with the pump and my back is starting to recover after sleeping on my old mattress with a 2" foam topper for the last month. I like extremely soft beds this is why I got the air mattress. Had one at home and now am FT in RV due to marriage issues.
This mattress has dual chambers with a firm foam rail around the outer part of the mattress so it supports you when you sit on the side. There is no foam between the two chambers, which I think is smart due to the bed only being 60" wide.
On top of the air chambers there are two additional different types foam sections, then the top is zippered on with another padding on top that you can see in the pictures on the website. This makes the bed 12" high which is better then the lower costs units on the other sites.
The air pump is seperate unit with two wired controllers that have a number readout so you can determine the number that works for you and long enough wires to route different ways. They also have a memory function setting.
It was easy to install, had to add an outlet under the bed, this was easy due to the wiring for the outlet on top of bedstand was accessable to cut to add the outlet.
The pump is very quit when inflating the bed.
Hope this helps with your decision.
I went this route due the cost difference and am happy thus far.
