Then it sure took them long enough to begin to give me President's Club discounts inside Camping World stores when I was only a Good Sam member.
.... and the clerk's - and the company when I called them ... kept mentioning to me that one of the two companies had "recently" bought the other. In fact, I think I was paying to be BOTH a President's Club member of the stores AND separate dues to be a member of the Good Sam Club. I guess what they meant was they had recently just been "combined".
Something doesn't smell right here .... or at least smells real "sloppy" ... probably because the Affinity Group Inc. did indeed leave them separate for a long time, either intentionally to maximize margins or through lack of good business acumen.
