RV on anniversaries?
I’m kinda getting "hammered" for not coming up with a great inclusive big dollar vacation for out 35th.
We have camped on multiple anniversaries and I’m thinking about Hilton Head (harbor–have a travel trailer) and visit Savanna....maybe Charleston (we have been there before).
Anyone spend anniversaries Rving…..is it wrong?
So... does your wife WANT to camp on your anniversary? If she does, then camp near a city (like Charleston) and make reservations at a fancy restaurant.
If she doesn't want to camp, make reservations at a fancy hotel with a massage / spa appointment, and some sort of private tour maybe on a boat or something.
Our first anniversary, we spent a week hiking the Appalachian Trail (hard to believe now looking at my belly, lol!). This year (24th) we will be camping at Acadia in Maine. Seems like most anniversaries we are camping! My wife, as far as I can tell(!), likes to go camping on our anniversary - she suggest this year's trip.
We don't do a lot of gift giving on most birthdays or anniversaries, especially now that time has moved on for us and our kids. Like I tell my wife and friends, I pretty have everything I "need", and most of the stuff I "want" (no, we are not rich, but doing okay).
My 50th birthday I just asked for dinner with 3 other couples at a nearby expensive restaurant. It was a good time, and a good excuse to try out the restaurant.
