How long have you owned your RV? Just about a year on this one.
What type is it? 2014 Torque Toyhauler 5th wheel
How long do you plan on keeping it before selling it or trading it in?This one at least 8 years--when daughter goes to college we will trade and get new RV for retirement that suits our needs. - kakampersExplorerWe have been in our 2013 Landmark since December 2012...prior unit was a Bighorn and we full timed in it for more than six years.
We waited to buy the Landmark until we could get exactly what we wanted...even added Mor Ryde IS and disc brakes...the plan is for this to be our last coach and so far I've not seen anything that would change my mind. - tatestExplorer IISince may 2005.
It is a 30-foot type C motorhome.
Since it is paid for, I'll keep it until I decide a different type of RV meets my changing lifestyle, or until I have no use for a RV at all. Death of a life partner is a lifestyle change I have not yet sorted out, but we do not want to rush these things.
The RV could very well be replaced by something smaller, or someplace permanent on a lake, in a snowbird destination, an apartment in a European city, or a house in Provence, Tuscany, Transylvania or Hunnan, a flat in San Francisco, Chicago, NYC, Paris, Prague, Budapest or Bratislava, or something on the side of a mountain on a tropical island. I'm not rushing it, I'm waiting to see what the children do with their lives and where my heart takes me.
FWIW, I don't get rid of things because they are old or something newer comes out. It is about needs changing. I have lawn mowers that qualify as antiques and use some inherited tools that are older than I am. That's really old. - RollnhomeExplorerLooks like most are in for the longhaul with the set up they have; unless lifestyle changes.

Holiday Rambler Presidential Suite 37RLQ 5th wheel
It's a solid unit, looks almost as good today as the day I purchased it....Will keep it until...... - Houston_RemodelExplorer IIWe also started with a popup for 5 years before buying the TT last July.
Like many have said, we plan on keeping it until the wheels fall off (mine or the TT's)
To quote Woody Allen, “If you want to make God laugh, tell him about your plans.” - RVNevadaExplorerI have been RVing since 1990, started with a Lance Truck Camper, moved to a 26 ft TTrailer in 1995, moved on to an 32 FT Montana 5ft Wheel in 2008, Now in an 43ft Voltage Toy Hauler, This is it for me until I can't drive with it, 10 years? then will go back to a Large Truck Camper
Rich - mlts22Explorer IIQ: Bought mine new around Halloween of 2011.
Q: Palomino Puma 25RS. No slide-outs, and two reclining chairs.
Q: It has done exceedingly well, but I'm going to be trading it in for a small motorhome, just because the motorhome is far easier for "hop in and go" trips.
