This small Tempe, AZ park might work for you. It's fairly close to the airport.

You'll find that most Phoenix area parks will be 55+ - if you fit in that category. Also, be sure to ask if you can drop your truck camper from the truck. Some parks won't let you.
There's also a park at Cordes Junction right on I-17 just north of Ben Avery. It's the Prescott area but somewhat south so it might not be as cold. This is close to the above-mentioned Quail Ridge but this one is smaller with only 22 sites so it might be more reasonable since you won't be there much.

Also look at Black Canyon City park - again along I-17 just north of Avery.
This is very close to Ben Avery but you need to call for rates. I would think it's pricey:
