I don't think it's a bad post.
It made me think a little about the good and bad parks we have been in. Usually the facilities themselves are fine for our purposes. What makes me think highly or poorly of the parks are A) what kind of clientele is there, B) the staff, and C) the upkeep.
We pull in after a long day. We are tired, hungry, and daylight is fading. What can you do to brighten my day?
A pleasant, helpful, personable staffer makes a big difference. Maybe ask me if I need any dinner (dine out or delivery) or breakfast recommendations. Point me to a free cookie. Ask if I'd like a biscuit for the dog. Ask if we need any other info for the area. Tell us about the morning coffee.
On the info sheet, include a sketch of an batwing TV antenna on a compass dial, showing which way to point it for the local channels. (Most of us with the batwings don't even know which way is forward.)
Also list the name of the cable provider. We can look up the TV listings on our phone, but if you don't tell us the provider, we have to start guessing between several that are listed.
The clientele issue is obvious, I think. Actually this is rarely an issue. But sometimes we have been uncomfortable. We won't return to those!
Upkeep issue is obvious too. Just have things clean and working.
Wifi, we gave up on that a long time ago. It's just hopeless and I don't count it against the park any more. We will use it if it works. But if you have it and it works, don't make it so it aggravates the users.
