What strikes me is that there are two distinctions in this thread. Those who are actually out there running businesses living their dream, and putting up with customers like the OP, and those who can only talk about their alleged business experience and criticize people he feels are below him.
And don't think for a minute that the sea of Blue hair/pickle boards are not contributing to the bottom line. Did you even consider that comment might be offensive to a member on this forum?
I'm not sure why you post on this forum for all it fails to provide you, much less go camping. You had nothing positive to say about 99.9% of the places you allege to have visited.
I think the problems you experience mostly exist in your head. You go to a place expecting a bad experience, and when owners don't kowtow to your every desire, it's just fodder for future dissertations. I remained unimpressed.
I personally don't depend on anyone else to ensure that my family and I have fun while camping - that's on us.
