I don't know about Reagan, but Bush 41 surely would have held him out as one of his 1000 points of light. And now he is a workamper in Alaska. Maybe he just needed to shed the bonds of his wealth and power and live among the common man. Truly a man to be admired.fulltimedaniel wrote:toedtoes wrote:
Actually "my observations" IS personal. What you "observe" is colored by your own personality, etc. That you then explain that as a nearly lifelong businessman you do this all the time proves that.
I do not go around observing how every business runs - perhaps because I am not a nearly lifelong businessman, but more likely because I don't see the point in an essay on the problems of the RV Park business model.
Perhaps you would have different responses if you posted this on a businessman forum - where you are likely find other nearly lifelong businessmen who enjoy dissecting business models.
To combine your two threads, I would suggest that none of the types of RVers really care about the business model of an RV Park.
So I gather from what you write that you are someone that believes that NO ONE can view any issue objectively and not through a lens of personal bias.
Frankly I find that absurd. If I had only seen everything in business through my personal lens of what I liked or disliked I would never had been able to run several successful businesses or dealt with the many many personnel and business decisions one has to make every day.
Any one who decides their business by those personal standards is bound to fail. So I will repeat: This is not personal.
And it is clear in the post as NO one, nor is any specific park named. Had I done that you would be right it would have been personal.
The only thing "Personal" are some of the responses to me. But that is ok.
I wonder, could you kindly supply us, with the name of these business you have run. You claim much, but supply little info.
I am of the Ronald Regan school "trust but verify" And in fact when asked on this subject in other threads you seem to go strangely silent on the issue, and never do answer.
