Now, Im quite sure you don't intend it that way, but frankly, it comes across that way. After I get over that, then I read the thread, and the responses purely for amusement and enjoyment.
Many of the threads you start really seem to be creating a solution, looking for a problem. It's interesting that you profess to have this great experience and insight that is unique, yet you are the only one seeing the problem (or one of a small minority). Many people have posted that they are generally 90+ percent satisfied/happy with the services they get from the campgrounds they visit, yet you say (another quote from the original post)
It strikes me as I have traveled around and stayed in so many that a great many RV Parks, not all mind you, are owned and operated by people who have had no real experience in business and frankly do not belong in the hospitality business at all as they clearly do not like dealing with people and do it rather badly.
So, if the majority of respondents on this thread are 90+ percent happy, and in your experience, 'a great many' parks are operated by folks who don't belong in the business, and don't like dealing with people, there is CLEARLY a DISCONNECT between your world and ours.
Again, another solution looking for a problem. But, I enjoy the side show all the same.

Thanks Walaby for a well reasoned and insightful post. I do appreciate your point of view and understand that SOME folks may take it the way you say.
But in any good writing giving CONTEXT is important. And what I am trying to do is give the reader some context about who I am and my background so they can better understand and process my opinions and observations.
Now I grant you that it is obvious that some read it VERY differently for sure.
As for a solution looking for a problem. I raise no problem to need a solution. I simply am pointing a finger and saying LOOK! Here is what I see of the current state of this industry. Its observation and is meant to make one think a bit about what they encounter everyday out here.
To return to the context issue. I think that it is Important to know for the reader whether my opinion has been formed from 3 visits to RV Parks or hundreds. Wouldnt you agree?
The whole business issue comes up when one well known professional critic of mine says that I have no business experience and knows nothing about the industry...which is clearly not true. What do I do at that point? I could let it go or I can explain my background so other readers understand my experience and how I arrive at these conclusions. That is what I chose to do. I fully understood at the time that some would take it wrongly.
As for the criticism it is expected. But I think a lot of it is just piling-on so to speak when the three well know posters who follow me all around the forums to do nothing but criticize start their posting others start reading my posts in a bit different light. And off we go.
But I take your points and appreciate your approach.
