A few years back, we were looking for a place to leave our M.H. for storage for a few weeks and I spoke with the folks at Singing Hills RV Park just off I-65 and on the road into Mammoth Cave N.P. They were willing (for a fee) to store it for us. In the end, our plans changed and storage was not necessary.
Are you really sure you want to leave your RV unattended for that long a period. I would be worried about mice and other critters.
If you watch the weather carefully and your timing is good, it is possible to drive back to Ontario on dry roads in the winter. It just depends on the type of winter we are having. This would not be a good day to be on the NY Thruway!
