I found rvparkreviews.com about the same time I found this forum. Neither have ever led me astray in planning a trip. When in doubt about a campground I always ask here.

I guess I'm guilty too of not posting every time I stay in a campground especially if I've reviewed it before and nothing has changed.

I started a thread on this Tuesday, it seems your review won't get posted until you review three sites, kinda stupid as I only camp once a year and its a shame a park and potential clients looking at that park will miss out on the review because of that. Sorta defeats the purpose.

RVparkreviews is a great free resource. Its the first place that I look when going to a new place. Often, when I respond to someone looking for a good campground in a place that I am familiar with, I will tell them my choice spot and also mention that they should look in RVparkreview.com first.

Their main reason for requiring 3 reviews before posting is to make it more difficult to use them for a personal vendetta against any campground or personnel. It's far from perfect, but it IS FREE and run by volunteers. I for one am VERY grateful, use it all the time (but not to exclusion) and contribute. Every one of my reviews have been posted, good and bad, including the first 3.

I regularly use the site, both reading reviews and posting reviews. Opinions on campgrounds can be so subjective. I can usually get an idea whether or not we should stay at a particular campground or a little more investigating. As mentioned, I also use this forum for opinions or suggestions on campgrounds.
I get a kick out of reading some of the reviews. People can be so anal sometimes over the smallest item.
I do like the idea of being able to add a picture to the review.

I look at it almost daily since I start planning next years' trips the end of each summer. Always get helpful details.

I to like the Pic idea! This would be a good add on.

I use it first to eliminate CGs without FHUs, + cable and WIFI. Pool, playground, dog walking area - don't care. Picnic table, concrete pad and local newspapers are pluses. Having to take turns with your neighbor to open your door is a minus. So is a downhill road 50 yards away with heavy truck traffic using their air brakes. Then I read the individual reviews.

It is a great tool to help plan your next trip....but it's also just one of many that you should check with before heading out:)

As PapPappy said. Pictures sometimes paint the wrong picture. Depends on the angle of the "shot". For instance we planned a week long vacation in a Missouri Park. The website showed large sites with space between which was not the case. The Map of campground showed a beautiful river flowing by the campsites (we chose one on the river). When we got there this site was standing in water and mud about 3 inches deep. The picnic table was surrounded by water and sludge. The river had about 15 feet of thicket between campground and river (couldn't even hear the river, much less see it). So sometimes the campground does misrepresent area.
