RV'rs with own washer bumping laundry users for the dryer

In our last outing, we stayed a few months in one park. A number of times while doing laundry, all washers were going and there were an equal number of dryers. While the laundry room was full and everyone waiting their turn for washers and dryers people would bring in their wash they had done in their RV's and bumped the ones that washers weren't quite done but would have been next in line for the dryers. There should be a standing etiquette rule that if you didn't wash your clothes in the laundry room, you should wait for the last washer to finish before using the dryers. Many times I had to wait an hour before being able to use the dryers. I guess just a rant.

Maybe a sign in the laundry room that says to wait until those washing are done would work.

  • Also, If you didn't get the clothes dirty in that camp ground you shouldn't be washing them there.
  • Get a Splendide or other combo unit as I have and then "who cares" about the status of the line at the park laundry area.

    No quarters needed by me.

The dryers in a CG laundry are for EVERYONE's use.
An empty dryer is open season for any one that wants to use it! :B:B
  • If I use my own washing machine then that frees up a washing machine for someone else to use that may have their own drier. So see, it all comes out in the wash. Pun intended. :B
