Satellite Hook Up
I have a 2010 Newmar Baystar MH. I had the Direct TV Tech come by to hook the satellite dish....he couldnt figure out how to connect the box to the correct connection. Is it that difficult....of all...

First question, is your RV prewired for Satellite?
If so, connection of your receiver probably from dish to where ever the input jack is for the coach and then from the interior connection to your receiver and then to the tv.
If not prewired, direct connection from the dish to the receiver, may have to run thru a door or slide or create a access thru a outside compartment.
Also keep in mind that generally you have to change your input on the tv to receive the signal from the receiver. Also make sure the power booster switch is Off or it may interfere with the signal.
My coach is both prewired for the roof satellite and for an outside connection. In my electric compartment, there is coax plug for a part connection. Still have to change the tv.
If you do not have a wiring diagram, consider contacting the Manufacture and ask for one. Mine sent me one, only needed my VIN.
