At our seasonal site a lot of people leave a set of keys with the local rv fix it guy. Sort of like dropping your keys off at a car dealer. So if something breaks on the weekend you can call and get what ever broke fixed during the week. Local fix it guy got tired of so many keys from everybody. Over the years he has whittled his key collection down to about 2 dozen keys that fit most everything. After hearing that many people put in dead bolt locks you could lock from inside. Then word got out how could anybody rescue you if you're inside? Bottom line is locks just slow down bad guys.
