Boy I can relate. My wife is an avid quilter. She does machine quilting and is very good at it. When we have talked of fulltiming it some day, she starts talking toy haulers so we can bring her machine along! I just laugh and roll my eyes. She made me an awesome RV themed lap quilt. We found all the material at a quilt/fabric store in Branson, Mo.
Yes, I don't think we will ever be full time, but I truly hope we will be snow birds, and we dream of the retirement trailer, but then I look at our bunkhouse trailer and think, you know the kids bedroom in the back could easily be the new mobile sewing room. I showed her all the wonderful comments tonight and told her we could get a booth at Quartzite and crank out pillow cases and make a little extra $ as we go. I wish now I'd taken pictures of all the other themed pillow cases she made and gave away. I honestly think it's about a 20 minute job for each case. Her quilts are labors of love, oh my all the different patterns and the tiny pieces that make the bigger pieces. She machine quilts all her work, though I know there is always that last little bit along the entire out side edge that is always hand stitched shut. Hans
