See Pictures: RV Theme Pillow Cases (Home made)
I bought the sewing machine back in the early 80's when I worked for Husqvarna in Minneapolis, top of the line Viking. A few years later met my wife and her eye's lit up when she realized this bachelor had such a fine machine, and was only using it to mend clothes.
I didn't know back then that my soon to be wife was a quilter. Over the years she has turned out at least a hundred quilts, many of them to become family heirlooms, most have been gifts. We've taken pictures of all her quilts before giving them away and they fill an entire photo album.
Some of you have read my comments here and also know we are spoiled by having numerous forms of recreation, including a truck camper and a large travel trailer as well as a sail boat. We like to equip our RV's so they are always ready to roll, leaving things like linen and dried goods in the cup boards.
I want to share with you just a couple of my favorite pillow cases she has made for us. She often makes "one off" pillow cases for friends with themes that pertain to them. Below are our camper/trailer cases.
Happy New Year to all, Hans
