Yes I'd have to bring in gas, water and use a tote but otherwise I'm self contained.
However without genset or solar an RV is going to become as self contained as a tent!
Not if you hook it to the TV, and charge it.
Self contained just means you can cook,(propane stove) have lights (battery). Have fridge (propane & battery). Wash (fresh tank, and pump on battery) And have holding tanks for black water. 110 is not necessary.
Few if any hard side TTs, or 5ers are not self contained. I can camp for 3 days on one battery.
Notice I said camp for 3 days, Not RV for 3 days.
