what is the definition of a self contained RV? I always thought it was your basic/standard RV withholding tanks, etc. On board water tanks, propane appliances, etc. I have seen ads by dealers that ...

This IS also the 'universal definition' CG's use when they want to restrict certain types of vehicles in their park.
Most will not let you stay at a CG in a van, truck or your car or set up a tent etc.
They will ask if you are 'self contained'. I.E. the above definition.
