There are varying States Concealed carry permits that are valid in almost every State. The Idaho Enhanced CC is one of them. It allows you to carry in I believe 45 States. There are some States that don't recognize any other States laws and don't even allow their own citizens to CC. Check into some of the States you are around and ask about their non-residence CC and look into what States they are valid. We just elect to not visit those States that do not allow CC. You can carry a long gun-unloaded in your MH in all States. Not quite sure what an unloaded gun is going to do for you, but you can carry it.
