Senior pass

Topic is Senior Pass, my first thought was "who died now"
getting to that age.....

I just turned 62 today. Tried to buy online, but the system is too overloaded to process the order.

Bought one last week st FS office in Newport WA. They gave me a voucher and said the card will be mailed to me. No reason you should have to return to the place you bought it just to pick it up.

I know the park service needs the money but going from $10 to $80 is a big jump and tough for seniors on a budget.

Many locations are "out" of the passes, so it IS easiest to get one by mail. I had to call around and finally found a USFS station that had some.

Or go HERE and let the postman do the walking.

I've been hearing reports of Parks running out of passes, so if you're not in a hurry online might work for you.
