It did. I think you guys are way over complicating this. I use the cleanout and have been for years. I am simply putting an extension on it that's about 20-25' to reach the drive so I don't have to drive on to the grass. This is not rocket science. And who has a 100 gallon tank? Mine is 30 and I usually dump at 2/3. Both my tanks combined might release 40 gals. A few elbows, a length of PVC, done.

What you're proposing will work just fine. Go for it... If you're still thinking of leaving the far end unglued though, I'd suggest snugging the fitting down, and then driving a couple of sheet metal screws through to insure it stays put through the vibrations/pressures when actively dumping, and expansion contraction cycles as temperatures change. It'll only add an extra minute or two if you need to pop the extension off to access the original cleanout.
