servicing the sewer hose
Howdy. Did a search on this topic found nothing. perhaps different wording would help. Best way to clean out the sewer hose? Bleach? Soap and water? Advise please. Thanks!

First. I use a "Slunky" most of the time to get some slope to the hose.
I will take a few feet off the support and lay them on the ground, forming a "Trap" fill the trap with fresh water and raise the end to WHOSH the full 3" piston of water down the hose to the drain.. That's all folks.
I mean what is going into that hose next time I use it? Am I going to eat or drink what comes out of it? Why should I worry about it being all that "Sanitary".
