A couple of years back, I was up in central British Columbia and stopped for fuel at a station. Asked where I could find a sanidump and was told the station had one around back that I was welcome to use. Drove back there and watched a Class C rig driving off, where the driver had forgotten to put his sewer hose away. It was still connected to his rig and the L attachment was in the dump line. It was probably a 15 or 20 ft hose originally, but as a "slinky" it must have been at least 50 or 60 ft long, before it tore loose from the RV. I would have loved to have seen the drivers reaction when he next stopped and went to hook up his sewer hose and it dawned on him what he had done.
Here in the swamp land of south Florida, something in the coastal air causes plastics, vinyls, etc. to disintegrate in just a few years, so I have to change out my hoses about every 5 or 6 years, a cheap investment as I see it, as I don't want to see the contents of my tanks running around my feet some day when I go to dump. LOL
