Should RV parks take cards as payment.

So, I must have been working too many years---must have missed something? I thought food stamps were for, ya know, FOOD! If a person has an R V, should he/she need food stamps?
I picture a Newmar Class A, driven by a fellow wearing a Tommy Bahama shirt, pulling into a KOA with food stamps.

Only in the grocery section. Food stamp cards are for food. If you are discussing another type of card, try re-wording the question.

Some food stamp programs use only one card and it is loaded with food stamp money for food AS WELL AS general assistance money (cash). When the person swipes the card they have to choose if they are using it for "food" or the "cash". My understanding is that the "cash" portion could be used for any type of house, or for whatever is needed. The is a specified amount for each item loaded on their card each month.

I'm having a hard time coming up with recipes for preparing a meal using a site in an RV park as an ingredient. I thought food stamps were for food...

SNAP is the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, which used to be called food stamps. Those below a certain income level receive a debit card with monthly funds for purchasing groceries, and the amount is based upon their income and the number of people in the household.
