Sisters on the Fly
A few weeks ago we were camping at Potato Creek State Park (Northern, Indiana). As we were walking around the campground we went down one section that was occupied by a group (or club) of campers. All were vintage, small, old style, and very cutely painted and decorated campers. All were smaller campers and almost all were from the 1950's erra. It turned out to be a "Women only" camping group, called "Sisters on the Fly". As one lady we talked to told us ... "No men, now kids, no pets." And the several women we talked to, seemed to be extremely happy campers!
This was the first time I'd ever heard of them, and had a great time taking photos of their campers, which every woman was more than proud to show-case! Here's just a few I took. If you want to see more (and there are a LOT more), go to their website. I think every camper photoed is absolutely great! These women DO know how to do it up! Sisters on the Fly web site, click here.
So, if you are a woman that enjoys camping and want to join an all women camping club .... this one might be just for YOU! No .. I have no personal interest with this group. I just thought I'd share. You don't see something like this every day you know!
