Skylight and vent cap maintenance

What do y'all recommend to put on skylights and other plastic roof parts to protect them from UV deterioration?

  • I used Gloss White Krylon paint.. It is amazing at how much cooler the bathroom is and how much light is still available. I had to replace the shower dome on my toy hauler last summer when it cracked, so I bought a clear dome and painted it like the one on the fifth wheel. It works really well, and it's a very cheap fix to the heat issue.

Did you use clear or a tinted color?

Exactly what I did! Much cooler, all the light and no yellowing after almost 3 years! Love that mod!
