All good suggestions with regards to the source of the water and possible need to sanitize your fresh water tank. You mention "if rinsing out with hot water." Also consider the tank of your hot water heater and whether you have an anode that needs to be replaced. Seems many of the hot water tanks are getting away from those, but something to check.
