SMI
Looking for info from anyone using the SMI braking system. Looking for likes and dislikes of the system. Thinking about putting it on my 2014 Jeep Wrangler.

- Have the SMI in my 03 Rubicon and have towed all over Colorado and to Alaska with no problems. I did change the the on/off switch to an up/down action instead of side/side and added a led because I mounted the control box high on the kick panel and had left it on after disconnecting.
- I have had the SMI for 14 years and never had a problem, I do recomend the unit and will purchase another one in a heart beat.
I have the unit that has the vacum pump and is hooked to the brake booster, and is wired to the RV, one feature that I like is that I have small light in the cabin of the RV that indicates that the toads brake is activated.
SMI has my vote of comfidence, recomend it.
navegator - We have had our SMI stay in play duo for about 5 years never a problem. I would buy it again without a dout. Highly recommend.
