How far south does one need to be to normally avoid freezing temperatures? Is San Antonio far enough? TIA

Have lived in San Antonio past 7 years. Had a dusting of snow one year. Rest of the time, you can expect a few below freezing nights, but don't think I have ever seen it get below 25.
