Go to Arizona Wind and Sun AW&S for comments and information on a lot of solar issues. These guys know their stuff and their equipment is first class. If you care for a post-graduate education on solar, go to Handy Bob's blog and follow his threads. Handy Bob This guy's got it right but his ideas go against a lot of "conventional" knowledge. I designed my system based on his ideas and thoughts and it works JUST LIKE HE SAID IT WOULD. Lots of good info out there, but a lot of folks who don't know what they're talking about too. Read it all and at least you'll be smart enough to ask the right questions.
