Have never done a wire transfer, but did buy a Western Union Cashier's Check at a TX grocery store.
Last year, we were closing on an RV Lot and the out-of-state attorney would not take a personal check and our bank did not do business in that state. We then sent it overnight UPS and all went smoothly.
