I sold an RV on eBay to a guy in Florida. He has already contacted me & paid the $100 deposit via Paypal. He says he's going to get a transport company to pick it up but we haven't worked out the when...

Arrange to complete the transaction at your bank on a business day when the purchaser bank will be open. Require a Certified Bank Check. Have your bank determine if the funds are i n the other bank and freeze those funds for the amount of the transaction. Your bank can notarize the documents and package the papers in a nice folder.

I don't THINK he's a Nigerian scammer since he mentioned NOTHING about sending me EXTRA money. ;)
anybody buying a big item such as RV sight unseen is VERY suspicious imo!!
I purchased a Class C sight unseen - I knew the model I wanted and found in on ebay. Emailed and talked on the phone prior to end of auction. Wire transfer from my bank to his; worked out great. Love the RV
