I sold an RV on eBay to a guy in Florida. He has already contacted me & paid the $100 deposit via Paypal. He says he's going to get a transport company to pick it up but we haven't worked out the when...

I believe in being cautious, but, if I had to jump through the hoops some of you describe, I would never purchase another MH.
X-2!!! Way to paranoid. I brought my first class A sight unseen. I was in NYS and it was at a dealer in Alabama. Saw it when I got there to pick it up. My son just sold a Harley to a guy from Chicago sight unseen using Ebay. The guy sent the money and my kid sent him the title. They were both happy over the deal. And just stop in think about all those people who have your checking account numbers and your credit card numbers. Every time you write a check or use the card someone else sees the numbers. Yes, scams are out there, and you have to watch your step, but you can protect yourself without tying your underwear into a knot!
