come on is that what you would do..
wouldn't you go inspect it OR have it inspected by a 'reputable' mechanic and then try to bargain a little, but settle on a reasonable price ?
I recently advertised my truck and got texted buy a buyer offering my asking price. I asked the buyer to call me. "No, can't do that as I'm on a military base and.. blah blah." That was a scam.
It doesn't take a whole lot of diligence to weed these people out.
