Just walked on a motorcycle last week, the title and the year where not as adv. save $15,000.resmas wrote:
I'm curious what "papers" he sent the lending bank??? Never heard of a loan situation where you, as a SELLER would send ANY papers before you have money in your bank...
I disagree, we bought our 5th wheel from a couple in Idaho and we're in California. Our lender USAA asked the sellers to send them the title, registration and I can't remember what the last thing was before they cut a check in their name.
I would have no problem whatsoever with sharing a photo copy or emailed scan of the title, but I would not ever send the *actual* title until I had the money... It seems like giving out the VIN number would be sufficient, also.
Sorry, it was COPIES of the Title and the Registration. They handed the title to us when we completed the transaction. USAA made the check in both of their names as that is how the title read.
